Carbon Emissions Management for NetZero (FSGN01)
The aim of the Carbon Emissions Management for NetZero qualification is to equip learners with the knowledge and skills required to effectively understand, manage, and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions within organisational settings.
The programme supports the development of a comprehensive NetZero strategy by enabling learners to design and implement environmental management systems, create NetZero action plans, and analyse the impact of business activities on carbon emissions.
It builds on prior sustainability knowledge, such as the Level 5 Environmental Sustainability at the Workplace programme, and can be integrated with other programmes of study to enhance environmental leadership and strategic decision-making in the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Programme Delivery & Assessment
The programme is designed to be delivered in 100 hours of TQT (Total Qualification Time) of which 25 are Guided Learning Hours (GLH) with a choice of online delivery or face-to-face training sessions.
Assessment of learners' work will be carried out by an examination and a synoptic assessment based on the learner’s implementation of learning in the workplace. Learners’ work will be measured against the specified learning outcomes and assessment criteria of each unit.
